A 23 year old man has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking in which vehicle is driven dangerously, driving whilst disqualified, failing to stop for police and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday 22nd June. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges are in relation to a report of the theft of a vehicle from the Kashmir Road area of Belfast on Monday 25th May and following a pursuit by specially trained officers, the driver of the Grey Mercedes was detained and arrested at the Falls Road area of west Belfast.
