A 26 year old man has been charged with five counts of driving whilst disqualified, five counts of using a motor vehicle without insurance and two counts of no driving licence.
He is due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates Court via videolink on Saturday 21st June. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges are in relation to an ongoing investigation by detectives who are investigating a spate of burglaries in Ballycastle which are believed to have occurred over the course of May and June. Two men, aged 42 and 26 years old, who were arrested on Friday 20th June on suspicion of burglary related offences regarding to the ongoing investigation into a spate of burglaries in Ballycastle believed to have occurred between May and June have both been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
