Detectives investigating a report of an arson incident at a property in east Belfast on Saturday 6th December have charged a man to court.

A 44-year-old man was charged with arson endangering life and is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Monday, 8th December.

As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
