Detectives in Belfast are appealing for information and witnesses following a reported serious assault in the south of the city on Wednesday, 3rd December.
Detective Sergeant Long said: "It was reported that at around 8.45pm, three men attended a property in Claremont Court and assaulted the resident, a man aged in his 50s, with an unknown weapon.
"He sustained head injuries alongside injuries to his torso, and remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
"We would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious, or who may have CCTV/dash-cam or other video footage which could assist with police enquiries, to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference 1450 03/12/25."
