The Police Service of Northern Ireland can confirm a man aged in his 50s has died following a road traffic collision in Dunmurry.

Detective Inspector Stewart from the Collision Investigation Unit said: “Police received a report of a collision involving a motorcycle in the Queensway area at approximately 7.30am this morning, Sunday 8th March.

“Officers attended alongside colleagues from other emergency services. Sadly, the rider of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.

“The road which was closed for a time to facilitate emergency services access has now fully reopened.

“Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dash-cam footage of what happened is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 414 08/03/26.”
