Police were in attendance in the Clarawood Park area of east Belfast earlier this evening, Thursday 13th February, following a report of a suspicious object in the area.
Inspector McCrum said: “Army Technical Officers also attended the scene, and one lane of the Knock dual carriageway was closed as a public safety operation was carried out.
“Nothing untoward was discovered at the location, and the road has now fully re-opened to traffic.”
