Two men, both aged 27 have been charged to court following a report of a robbery in Lambeg on Friday 5th April 2024.
One man has been charged with robbery, possession of class A and class B controlled substances while the second man was charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence
Both will appear before Lisburn Magistrates Court on Monday 4th November 2024.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges are in relation to a robbery in the Queensway area of Lambeg when the two men, one armed with a knife, entered the shop and demanded money from the till.
