Detectives from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force continuing to investigate suspected criminality linked to the west Belfast UDA have charged a man to court.

The 22-year-old is charged with a number of offences, including possession and possession with intent to supply Class A, B and C controlled drugs, possessing a firearm and ammunition in suspicious circumstances and possessing prohibited ammunition.

He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 25th February.

As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
