Police are appealing for information following a report of criminal damage which occurred at the Upper Mervue Street area of north Belfast on Wednesday 29th April.

Inspector Adams said: “Shortly after 10:10pm, it was reported that around four masked men are believed to have smashed a number of windows of a property. A silver Suzuki car also parked nearby was  also damaged.  The men, who were armed with metal bars, left the area on foot following the incident.

“A number of people were inside the property but although no one was injured, they were left badly shaken. 

“Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances and police would appeal to anyone with any information to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 1654 29/04/26.
