The Police Service of Northern Ireland can confirm that a man has sadly died following a two-vehicle collision in the area of Doagh on Friday 17th July 2026.
He was Jamie Fleming, aged 26, of the Ballyclare area.
Detective Inspector Stewart from the Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Police received a report at around 1.40pm of a collision involving a blue Yamaha motorcycle and a blue Skoda Enyaq in the Ballymena Road area of Doagh at the junction of Deer Park Road.
“Officers, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended, however, sadly the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The Ballymena Road, which was closed for a time, has since reopened.
“Our enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have any information which could assist with our investigation, including dash-cam or other footage, to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 827 of 17/07/26.”
