Police are appealing for witnesses to a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at Bridge Road, Dunloy, at around 7.10pm yesterday, Saturday 16th May.

Chief Inspector Tate said: “Officers attended the scene together with colleagues from the emergency services.

“One woman was taken to hospital for treatment for her injuries, which are believed to be life threatening at this time.

“A man aged in his 20s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of a number of driving offences. He remains in police custody at this time.

“The Bridge Road, which had been closed for a period of time, has now re-opened.

“Police enquiries are ongoing, and we would ask anyone who was in the area at the time, and might have any mobile phone or dash cam footage, or any other information which might assist, to get in touch.
