Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Belfast on Wednesday evening, September 17th.
Police received a report of a group of males involved in a large fights in the Edward Street area at around 5.30pm.
Officers attended the area and spoke to a man who had injuries to his head, he was then taken to hospital for treatment.
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and grievous bodily harm with intent and has been released on bail to allow for further enquiries.
Detective Sergeant David Kitchen said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information, including dash-cam or other footage, to contact us on 101 quoting reference 1353 of 17/09/24.”
