Police have charged a man to court after a number of arrests were made in the south Belfast area yesterday, Thursday 11th December.


The man, aged 40, has been charged with possession of a Class C controlled drug, and resisting arrest.


He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court today, Friday 12th December.


As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.


Meanwhile, a man aged in his 20s who was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs has been released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.
