Police are at the scene of a concern for safety near a boat club at Shaws Bridge in south Belfast this evening, Wednesday 19th June.

A kayak, shoes and socks have been located and a search is underway to establish if a person has entered the water.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact Police. We would also appeal if the owner of the items is safe and well to contact us.
