District support team officers in Holywood made an arrest yesterday, Friday 13th December, and seized drugs destined for our streets.
Inspector McClintock said: "Our officers stopped and searched a vehicle in the Old Holywood Road area at 6.30pm.
"They removed a variety of Class A, B and C drugs, and a large amount of cash.
"The driver, a man aged in his 50s, was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A, B and C controlled drugs with intent to supply, possession of Class A, B and C controlled drugs and possession of criminal property. He was later released on bail to allow for further enquiries."
Inspector McClintock continued: “Targeting drugs supply is a priority for the Police Service. We are committed to tackling the scourge of illicit drugs, and will continue to investigate those who profit from the misery and harm they cause our community.
