Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Collision Investigation Unit have issued a renewed appeal for information following a fatal road traffic collision in Comber.

Detective Sergeant McIvor said: “At approximately 4.45pm on Saturday, 22nd February 80-year-old Isobel Murphy died at the scene from her injuries following a collision with a car.

“We are appealing to anyone who was travelling on the Ballygowan Road or Railway Street area between 4.30pm and 4.45pm on Saturday, and has dash-cam footage to make contact with us.

“We are also keen to hear from anyone who observed an elderly female pedestrian on the Ballygowan Road or crossing at the Railway Street area between these same times to make contact with us.”
