Detectives investigating a stabbing incident in the Rodgers Quay area of Carrickfergus on Wednesday, 27th May have made a second arrest.
A 37-year-old man was arrested today, Monday, 1st June, on suspicion of attempted murder, possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and possessing an article with a blade or point in a public place. He remains in police custody at this time.
A 41-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon on Saturday, 30th May has since been released on bail.
