Police have charged a teenager to court following a report of an attempted hijacking in Dunmurry in the early hours of Monday morning, 22nd June.

The 17-year-old is charged with hijacking, attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, robbery, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and possession of a Class B controlled drug.  

He is due to appear before Craigavon Youth Court today, Wednesday, 1st July.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
