Police in Newtownards have charged three men to appear at court following the discovery of a cannabis factory in the Newtownards area on Thursday.

The men, aged 19, 29 and 37, have been charged with various drugs offences including cultivating cannabis and being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.

They are all due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Saturday 31st January.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
