Police and colleagues from the emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious assault in the Duncairn Parade area of north Belfast.

Inspector Holmes said: "Shortly before six pm today, Monday 20th July, police received a report that a man had been assaulted inside a residential property.

"Three men, one aged in his 30s, and two aged in their 40s, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They remain in police custody, assisting with enquiries.
