Road users are advised of likely traffic disruption in Belfast city centre on Saturday, 17th May, due to planned parades and protests.

The first parade will leave from Writer’s Square at 12pm and make its way along Donegall Street, Royal Avenue, Donegall Place and Donegall Square North, ending at Belfast City Hall where a rally will take place.

The second parade will commence at 1pm respectively and follow the same route, again ending with a rally at City Hall.

A number of protests will also take place at Belfast City Hall from 2 pm onwards.

It is expected that the parades and protests will have concluded by 3:30 pm.

Police officers will be present to manage traffic and ensure public safety.

To avoid potential delays, please plan your journey in advance and seek an alternative route for your journey during these times.
