Road-users and other members of the public are advised of the following planned parades, which are due to take place in the Mid and East Antrim area on Monday, 13th July:

Larne

A parade will take place in Larne at 11am. This is likely to impact traffic travelling from Larne towards Ballygally (and vice-versa) between 11am-2pm and then also from 4pm-5.30pm. Diversions will be in place via Millbrook, taking the following route: from Glynn – Millbrook – Drumnegreagh.

Glenarm

Further along the coast, at Glenarm, a parade will commence at 12pm, with traffic disruption expected between 12pm-1.30pm and also between 4pm-5.30pm. Diversions will be in place, allowing motorists to bypass the coastal village.

Ballymena

In Ballymena town centre, the annual demonstration will take place between 12pm-2.30pm and from 4pm-6pm. This will cause delays in Harryville, the town centre and the Cushendall Road area. Officers will be on hand to assist, where possible.

Portglenone

A parade will also take place in Portglenone, with road-users likely to be impacted between 12.30pm-2pm and from 4.30pm-6pm. Police will conduct traffic control points in the village, with a wider traffic management plan in place to incorporate other parades in nearby villages, such as Kilrea and Rasharkin.
