Police have arrested two men following a theft from retail premises on the Boucher Road, Belfast on Wednesday, 9th April.

A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft and remains in police custody, while a 47-year-old man was issued with a Community Resolution Notice (CRN) and has now been released from custody.

Inspector Carey said: “Officers engaged on another matter noticed the theft taking place at around 7.50pm. They responded extremely quickly, stopping the vehicles and arresting the persons involved before the business had even contacted police. All goods were subsequently recovered.”
