Two men have been charged following searches by the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Organised Crime Branch, local District Police and Tactical Support Group (TSG) on Thursday, 12 December.

The men, aged 32 and 59, who were arrested in the south Armagh area, have been charged with a number of offences, including possession of ammunition in suspicious circumstances and possession of firearms with intent to danger life.

They are due to appear before Newry Magistrates Court this morning, Friday 13th December. As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS. 

The 69-year-old man arrested in Grantham in Lincolnshire has been released on police bail to allow for further enquiries.
