Detectives investigating a serious assault in the Benevenagh Drive area of Limavady on Friday 4th April have charged two men to court.

Two men, aged 33 and 32, have both been charged with wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

The 32-year-old man has also been charged with possession of a Class A controlled drug and possession of a Class C controlled drug.

Both men are due to appear before Coleraine Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 7th April.

As is usual procedure, all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
