Police have charged two men to court following a serious assault in the Drumadoon Drive area of Dundonald on Saturday, 18th July.

A 38-year-old man is charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

A 34-year-old man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and common assault.

Both men are due to appear before Newtownards Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 14th August.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
