A 49 year old man has been charged with handling stolen goods and theft, and a 39 year old man has been charged with theft.
Both men are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Friday 4th April. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges are in relation to a report of the theft of a high value piece of art on Wednesday 2nd April from commercial premises in the Lanyon Quay area of Belfast.
