Detectives investigating an arson attack in the Gregg Street area of Lisburn on Saturday evening, 25th July have charged two people to court.

A 34-year-old woman has been charged with arson endangering life with intent, possession of a Class C controlled drug, attempted criminal damage and burglary with intent to cause unlawful damage.

A 38-year-old woman has been charged with arson endangering life with intent, criminal damage, attempted criminal damage, resisting police, possessing an article with blade or point in a public place, burglary with intent to steal, burglary with intent to cause unlawful damage and threats to damage property.

Both are due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 27th July.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
