What to do if you have fallen victim to sextortion
If you have been a victim of sextortion, then you are certainly not alone. It is important not to panic and remember the following:
- Don't respond to demands and don't pay up.
- End all communication with the blackmailers, do not continue to message them.
- Block the offender on ALL platforms and change your password on all accounts.
- If you can, confide in a trusted friend or family member and please contact police immediately on 101.
