Police are appealing for information following a report of a robbery in south Belfast yesterday afternoon, Sunday 25th August.
At approximately 4.55pm, it was reported that the victim was walking along Fitzroy Avenue when he was attacked by another man who dragged him to the ground and stole a mobile phone and a quantity of cash before making off in the direction of Cromwell Road.
The man is described as being approximately 6’2 in height, of average build and with a shaved head. He was wearing dark grey stonewashed type jeans and a black jacket.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who may have witnessed the attack or anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist with the investigation, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1219 24/08/25.
