Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a petrol bomb was thrown at a property in Coleraine in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 25th July.
Detective Sergeant Higgins said: “At approximately 3.45am, it was reported that a petrol bomb had been thrown at a house in the Rosemary Place area of Coleraine.
“Officers attended the scene, together with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.
“The occupant of the property managed to extinguish the fire, and thankfully, there were no reports of any injuries, however, this was a reckless attack, and our enquiries are ongoing this morning to establish the circumstances of the incident.
