Police have charged a man to court following a drugs search in the Hopewell Avenue area of north Belfast on Tuesday, 21st July.
A 20-year-old man has been charged with possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug, possession of a Class A controlled drug and possession of a Class B controlled drug.
He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 23rd July.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
A second man, also aged 20, who was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug and possession of a Class A controlled drug, has been released on bail to allow for further police enquiries. He has since been re-arrested for breach of bail.
A 24-year-old woman, who was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug and possession of Class A and Class B controlled drugs, has also been released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.
