Police investigating a report of theft from vehicles in the Green Hill area of Lisburn, and subsequent assault on a police officer and custody detention officer on Thursday morning, 27th November have charged a man to court.

The 25-year-old has been charged with offences including theft from a vehicle, interference with vehicles, grievous bodily harm, and assault on a designated person.

He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court this morning, Friday 28th November.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
