Police investigating an assault in Derry/Londonderry on Saturday night, 23rd May, have charged a man to court.

The 39-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm.

He was released unconditionally in respect of possession of a class C controlled drug. 

He is due to appear before Dungannon Magistrates' Court tomorrow, Monday 25th May. 

As is usual procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
