A man and a woman were sentenced at Craigavon Crown Court today, Tuesday 10th September.
Liam McCaugherty, aged 30, was sentenced to ten months in custody and ten months on license, after pleading guilty on 18th April for possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply and possession of a Class C controlled drug with intent to supply.
Lauren McShane, aged 23, was sentenced to a three year probation order after pleading guilty on 18th April for possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply and possession of a Class C controlled drug with intent to supply.
This conviction comes after a search of a house in Lisburn by CID Detectives in June 2023, where a quantity of herbal cannabis and prescription medication was seized. Two mobile phones were also seized during the search.
Detective Sergeant Dibden said: “The PSNI is committed to bringing those involved in the supply of drugs before the courts.
“I would appeal to anyone who has information about illegal activity, including the supply of illegal drugs, to contact detectives on 101.
