A 43 year old man has been charged with robbery, attempted robbery, two counts of possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indicatable offence and two counts of Criminal Damage.
He is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates' Court on Friday, 10th July. As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges are in relation to two armed robberies in Bangor on Wednesday night, 8th July.
