A 36-year-old man from east Belfast has been sentenced at Belfast Crown Court in relation to drugs offences.
Detective Sergeant Moore said: “On January 25th, 2023, following a search at the home address of Mark Magee, a quantity of Cocaine was located as well as over £2,000 in cash.
A quantity of cannabis was also located inside a vehicle.
“Today, Friday 23rd May, Mr Magee was sentenced for possession of a Class A drug, namely Cocaine, possession of a class A drug with intent to supply, possession of a class B drug, namely Cannabis, possessing of criminal property, and obstructing police.
“He received a two year custodial sentence, half of which is to be served in custody, and half to be served on licence.”
Detective Sergeant Moore continued: “The Police Service of Northern Ireland remains committed to robustly and proactively pursuing those involved in drug supply, at all levels, arresting them and bring them before the courts.
