Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a report of a robbery in Newtownards on Friday, May 30.
Detective Sergeant McCartan said: “It was reported that sometime between 11.30am and 12pm, two masked men gained entry to a house in the Balfour Street area and threatened three people inside, before leaving with a sum of cash.
“Thankfully, the occupants were not physically injured but they were left shaken by the ordeal.
“Both suspects are described as being aged between 30-40. One of them was reported to be of stocky build, clean-shaven and wearing white trainers, navy jeans, a blue t-shirt and a grey tracksuit jacket, with a grey baseball cap.
“The second man was described as being of slim build and wearing navy jeans, a black coat and a black baseball cap.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information, including dashcam, CCTV or other video footage is asked to contact us on 101, quoting reference 633 of 30/5/25.”
