The Police Service of Northern Ireland can confirm that a woman has sadly died following a road traffic collision on the Ballyrobin Road, Templepatrick on Saturday, 14th February.

Detective Inspector Stewart from the Collision Investigation Unit said: “Police received a report of a two vehicle collision, involving a bus and a black Citroen C1, at approximately 8:00am on Saturday morning.

“Officers attended alongside emergency services partners, however the driver of the Citroen was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene.

"The driver of the bus, a man in his sixties, was taken to hospital with serious injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

“The Ballyrobin Road remains closed at this time.

“Our enquiries are continuing, and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have digital footage which could assist with our investigation, to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 341 14/02/26.”
