Police in south Belfast have charged a 32-year-old man and 44-year-old woman to court.

He has been charged with aggravated burglary, possession of an offensive weapon and drug-related offences. He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrate's Court this morning, Saturday 6th December.

The 44-year-old woman has been charged with aggravated burglary, she is due to appear before Belfast Magistrate's Court on Friday, 2nd January.

A second man, aged 28, arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, aggravated burglary and drug-related offences has been released on bail pending further enquiries. A third man, aged 39 who was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, possession of an offensive weapon with intent and drug related offences has been released on bail. A fourth man, aged 42 who was arrested on suspicion of drug-related offences has been released on bail.
