Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Serious Crime Branch made an arrest and seized a vehicle during the early hours of today, 13th January, as part of their ongoing investigation into paramilitary activity in Derry/Londonderry.

A 31-year-old man was arrested following a search of a property in the Claudy area. A vehicle was also seized during this search as part of enquiries.  

Following interview, the man was released on bail to allow for further police enquiries to be conducted.

The investigation continues.
