Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Organised Crime Branch have seized suspected Class B controlled drugs with an estimated street value of £270,000.
Detective Inspector Miskelly said: “Officers conducted a proactive search of a property at the Maryville Street area of south Belfast on Thursday 14th May. A quantity of Class B Controlled Drugs with an estimated street value of £270,000, a large sum of cash, drugs paraphernalia and other items were seized and taken away for further forensic examinations.
“Three men aged 49, 22 and 18 years old were arrested on suspicion of drugs related offences and remain in police custody at this time.
“Our officers will continue to protect communities from the harm of illegal drugs. As a result of this excellent police work, a large quantity of suspected dangerous controlled drugs are now safely off our streets.
