Detectives investigating a report of a burglary in Omagh, and of suspicious activity in Castlederg earlier this year, have made two arrests in Derry/Londonderry this morning, 28 July.

Two men, aged 50 and 63 years old, were both arrested on suspicion of burglary and of fraud by false representation.

Today's police operation, which also included searches at two addresses in the city-side, forms part of an investigation into a burglary reported at a property on Main Street in Drumquin on 11th June this year, and of a number of men acting suspiciously that same day around a number of businesses and a school in the Castlederg area.

Both men have since been released on bail to allow for further police enquiries to be conducted.
