Police investigating a report of an assault in Newcastle in the early hours of this morning, Friday 5th June, have charged a man to court.
The man, aged 31, has been charged with grievous bodily harm, threats to kill, and common assault.
He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow, Saturday 6th June.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
