A man arrested following a report of suspicious activity at the Iverna Close area of south Belfast on Wednesday 17th June, has been charged to court.
The man, aged 31, has been charged with a number of offences including burglary with intent to steal, common assault and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow, Thursday 18th June.
As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
