District Support Team officers in Derry/Londonderry seized suspected Class A and Class B drugs in Donemana on Thursday, Thursday 23 July.

A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug-related offences, and he remains in custody at this time. The arrest was made while officers were on patrol in the Berryhill Road area shortly before 9pm. 

Enquiries are ongoing. 

Appeal for information  

Inspector Cathal Pearce said: "Drugs cause nothing but misery to individuals, families and communities and we remain focused on working to disrupt crime, take drugs off our streets and keep people safe. We reassure you we will continue to proactively investigate and carry out searches linked to the drugs trade to identify those involved.”
