Anti-Social Behaviour

We record and monitor reports made to Police, identifying and reporting offenders. We work in partnership with Belfast City Council and Community Groups, including Neighbourhood Watch to help reduce incidents. We target persistent offenders and work with local young people and youth groups to tackle nuisance behaviour, underage drinking and drug misuse.

We have increased high visibility patrols with additional hours allocated to address burglaries in the area. We plan specific anti-burglary operations, including in plain clothes, and work in partnership with other Police teams, concentrating on offenders and identified hot spot areas. We carry out leaflet drops with community groups and liaise with Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators in your area.

We are committed to tackling the illegal use and supply of drugs in your area. As a result of information received from the local community, we continue to conduct searches of premises, seize quantities of illegal drugs and arrest those involved.
