We record and monitor reports made to Police, identifying and reporting offenders. We work in partnership with the local Council and Community Groups, including Neighbourhood Watch, to help reduce incidents. We target persistent offenders and work with local young people and youth groups to tackle nuisance behaviour, underage drinking and drug misuse.
Neighbourhood officers routinely conduct personal follow up visits to victims of burglary. Crime Prevention advice and tailored support is arranged during these visits and those vulnerable as repeat victims are identified.
Drugs have been identified by you as a major concern. We are committed to tackling the illegal use and supply of drugs in your area. As a result of information received from the local community, we continue to conduct searches of premises, seize quantities of illegal drugs and arrest those involved.
When a local policing area officer is unavailable to take your call, there will be a facility where you can leave a message to be contacted. If your call relates to an emergency, please call 999. If your call relates to a non-emergency, please call 101 to report the matter. The email below is for general enquiries and is not monitored 24/7. It should not be used to report incidents or crimes. These should be reported by calling us on 101, or 999 in an emergency.
