Slieve Gullion Neighbourhood Policing Teams
Slieve Gullion Neighbourhood Policing Teams cover the following wards: Bessbrook, Camlough, Fathom, Mullaghbane, Newtownhamilton and Whitecross.
Anti Social Behaviour
We record and monitor reports made to Police, identifying and reporting offenders. We work in partnership with the local Council and Community Groups, including Neighbourhood Watch, to help reduce incidents. We target persistent offenders and work with local young people and youth groups to tackle nuisance behaviour, underage drinking and drug misuse.
Drugs
Drugs have been identified by the community as a major concern and we are committed to tackling the illegal use and supply of drugs in your area. As a result of information received from the local community, we continue to conduct searches of premises, seize quantities of illegal drugs and arrest those involved.
Vulnerable Persons and Young People
Protecting vulnerable persons and our young people is a priority for us and we continue to work to achieve this.
