    Headed by Assistant Chief Constable Stephen Martin, we are responsible for Keeping People Safe across our 11 Policing Districts, which mirror District Council boundaries.

    The Department of Legacy and Justice was established in February 2016. Headed by ACC Mark Hamilton, the Department is responsible for Legacy Investigations, Justice, Protective Disclosures, Anti-Corruption, Vetting and Discipline.

    The Legal Services Department supports the organisation through the provision of legal advice on human rights, general policing matters, inquests, judicial review and civil litigation.
